The company was founded in 1993 by Sarkar Fattah, a visionary entrepreneur with a deep technical understanding of satellite technology and electronics at a time when such services were just beginning to grow in the region. •In the early 2000s, Zhekar moved to Aswaq Farhad, becoming a go-to destination for electronics and satellite products.
•By 2009, as the business grew, the company relocated to a more strategic and central location in Nishtiman Bazaar, where one of its two main branches still operates today.
•In response to changing market needs and growing demand for renewable energy, Zhekar expanded its services in 2024 by launching its own solar energy brand: Zhecosolar.
